How can you be gone six months? This grief is as deep as it was that very first day that I found out that you were gone. I miss you so much, Debi. You were a Best Friend from the moment that we met. We clicked immediately, like we had known one another forever. I will continue to miss you for all my remaining days. I miss your voice calling me “Sister” or saying “Now Valerie, you know…” always followed with a pearl of wisdom or some keen observation. I miss our laughter, our long talks, our beautiful friendship, sharing our lives and family news together. I’ll always treasure that month you lived with us in AZ and my visit to you & Chris in MO. I will love you forever, Debi. I know you are at peace—Rest Easy, my forever friend, my heart is broken. Chris, Greg, Tim, Brandon & Taylor, you will always be in my heart and in my prayers. You were the light and joys of her life. I always loved to hear her talk about all of you, before and after we all met. I’m so glad to have spent time with all of you. As much as I miss & grieve Debi, I know the loss that you are enduring is so much more. I think of her everyday, and those thoughts, along with my love, always come back to all of you too.

Chris, so sorry to hear about the passing of Debi. I only met her a couple of times during our years in Arizona, but I certainly remember how outgoing and friendly she was. Really hate to see this happen to someone like you who I thoroughly enjoyed working with and getting to know during our time in AZ. We'll be thinking about you.

Jarod Mendez

This is such sad news to hear of Debi's passing. She will surely be missed by all. We loved having you as neighbors, and really appreciated all of the help and guidance (wisdom) you gave our family. Debi always treated our boys like her own grandkids, because that's just the kind of person she was. Chris and family, we're thinking of you in this difficult moment. Take care and God bless.

Deb, you were more than a friend. My mother had accept you becoming my American mother... we will miss you soooooooo much. You left me with a lot of memories, I think the best one is when you told Chris "you going to Jamaica with my little jamaican brother" you had so much fun with my family. We love you . @chris and family she is now an angel watching over you guys.

I had the honor of working with Chris and almost every time we had a conversation your name came up Debi. He loves you so much & thoroughly enjoyed his life with you. I was able to get to know you better when we went to Hawaii in 2019 & really enjoyed the moments we were able to talk. I’m so sorry Chris. You didn’t have a chance to prepare for losing her. My heart goes out to you my friend. If there’s ever anything I can do or if you just want to talk, please know I would be happy to listen. Tammie

Our hearts are so so broken. I am just here missing you my friend. You not only were our dear friend but became our family. All the long conversations, making jokes just giggling, your honest advice, our lunches and all of our QT runs will forever be with us. The way you hung out with my kids and how much they loved you. You were as honest as they came and told it like it was. I loved that about you. I will forever treasure our friendship and I know that heaven just gained an amazing girl. I know you will be looking out for us all. We love you and Chris to the moon and back always and forever. Big Hugs and Kisses sent to you my friend. Love you always, your family - Brett, Ree, Kaidyn, Kayleigh (Baby girl) and Kamdin (shortstack)

Deb was our best friend. We spoke on the phone everyday or every other day. We worked together for years. She was devoted to her husband Chris. Her two sons and grandsons. She loved her family, loved staying with bro randy. She loved her parents and siblings. She adored her pets. We had lunch weekly and sometimes twice a week. We loved telling jokes. Laughing and having fun. We were always trying to get her to try new food. She will be greatly missed. She was great mom, wife, grandma and friend to many. We were so lucky to have her in our lives. RIP DEB WE LOVE YOU MADLY
