Marilyn E. Degenhardt

Marilyn E. Degenhardt, 85, of Kansas City, MO passed away on August 31, 2020. Marilyn was born April 20th, 1935 in Columbus, NE to the late Edward and Mildred (Hardy) Murphy. She was a school secretary for the Hickman Mills School District before retiring. Marilyn was a member of the Ruskin Heights Presbyterian Church. She loved spending time with her family, reading, sports and playing cards. Marilyn married the love of her life, Donald D. Degenhardt on September 9th, 1956. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Donald Degenhardt; children: Carolyn Terry (Les), Denise Andrews (Tim) and Thomas Degenhardt (LeAnn); six grandchildren: Jesse Terry (Laura), Lauren Porter, Allison Edwards (Jared) Jill Roberts (Mark) Melinda Degenhardt, Timothy Degenhardt; three great grandchildren: Grayson and Nolan Terry, and Porter Edwards; and two sisters: Dorothy Johnson and Nancy Miller. Private services will be held to celebrate her life; burial in Green Lawn Cemetery.
