Brandon James Doherty, loving and dedicated father, son, and brother, passed away at the age of 47 on November 30, 2018. He was surrounded by his loving family. Brandon was born December 24, 1970. Our Christmas Eve baby was a gift from God and has been called home way too soon. We didn’t want him to go.
Brandon was a lifelong resident of the Kansas City area. He graduated from Park Hill High School in 1988. For the past 18 years, he owned and operated the North Oak and Liberty Pizza Shoppes. Brandon liked golf and was a big fan of the Chiefs and the Royals.
He will be remembered for his big and infectious smile, big heart and unselfish generosity. He lived life to the fullest and was a friend to many. He was a great dad, devoted to his two daughters, and a beloved son and brother.
Brandon is survived by his daughters, Hannah and Kennedy Doherty; his parents, Steve and Ida Doherty; brother and spouse, Sean and Aron Doherty; and his loving, caring soulmate, Marlo Ireland. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
