Doris June Eldridge, 84, of Pleasant Valley, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025. She was born June 11, 1940, in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Joseph and Gladys (Hulet) Morrison.

She was witty, strong and loving mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was a devout Christian and former member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. She was also a dedicated Chief’s season ticket holder for many years—the good years and bad years.

She is survived by her daughters Tonya (Dan) Barsness, Kelley McDaniel, Michelle Eldridge; grandchildren Amy, Amanda, Ashley, and Eric; great-grandchildren: Alexis, Raina, Alex, Marcello, Jason, Halie, Sophia, Brandon, Amelia, Reagan, Abigail, Aria, and John; great-great-granddaughters Lilianna and Delilah.

In addition to her parents, Doris is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Arlis Edwin Eldridge, who died in 2008; and infant daughter Sheila.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 9, 2025, from 10 AM until time of service at 11 AM at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd. Kansas City, Missouri 64138. If you so desire, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital for Children.
