Mary K. Drew, 86, of the Kansas City Northland, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2022, at NorthCare Hospice House with loved ones at her side.

Mary was born June 11, 1935, in Preston, Mississippi, one of eight children of Joseph and Mary (Dalton) Hicks. She met Ross Junior Drew in Louisiana following his Korean era military service and they were united in marriage on January 24, 1954. They had four children. They worked many years in the home building business in the Kansas City area. Following retirement they moved to Stockton Lake. Ross preceded Mary in death in 2020.

Along with her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by two sons, Bob Drew and Steve Drew; grandson, Robert Drew; and five siblings.

Survivors include two children, Mark Drew and Linda Drew; grandchildren, Lori Hohimer (Pat), Emily Seifers (David), Alyssa Laber (Daniel), Holly Filler and Misty Moore (Alex Zalvidar Mondragon); seven great grandchildren, Aubrey, Brennan, Wayne, Drew, Cody, Ea and Lilly; sisters, Billie and Dianne; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, followed by a service celebrating Mary's life at 2:00 pm, on Monday, March 21, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO. Interment will follow at Glenridge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to NorthCare Hospice House.

Service Information:

Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, followed by a service celebrating Mary’s life at 2:00 pm, on Monday, March 21, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO. Interment will follow at Glenridge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to NorthCare Hospice House.
