Russell Wayne Duncan

Russell W. Duncan, 59, passed away at his home October 6, 2019.  Russ was born January 24, 1960 to Bobby and Carol (Jones) Duncan in Kansas City, KS. Russ worked as a commercial painter for Switzer Painting Company. He graduated from the University of Missouri Columbia with a Bachelor of Science in Histo Technology. He was a member of International Union of Painters and Trades Local #9 and the Elks Lodge in Grandview, MO. Russ attended the New Vision Christian Center for the last several years.

Russell was preceded in death by his father Bobby D. Duncan in 2009. He is survived by his mother Carol; his brother and sister in-law Michael D. and Janet Duncan; one niece, Hilary B. Duncan and one nephew, Jonathan G. Duncan.

Visitation will be 9:30-10:30AM, with funeral services to follow at 10:30AM, Friday, October 11, 2019 at Park Lawn, 8251 Hillcrest Rd.; burial in Green Lawn Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Vision Christian Center, 12400 Grandview Rd,  Grandview, Missouri, 64030.
