Christopher “Tom” Dureka

Christopher Thomas "Tom" Dureka, 48, of the Kansas City Northland, passed away December 14, 2021, at North Kansas City Hospital with loved ones at his side.

Tom was born December 12, 1973, in Fort Ord, California, the younger of two sons of Paul Patrick Dureka, Jr. and Carrol Lee (Holmes) Dureka. His parents preceded him in death.

Tom graduated from Raytown South High School and received his Associate's degree from Maple Woods Community College. He worked as a Supervisor of Surveillance for Bally's Casino in Kansas City.

Tom was united in marriage to Michelle Stephanie Becker on June 26, 2000, and they have three daughters: Hannah (15), Serra (13) and Leia (9). Tom also leaves his brother, Paul Patrick Dureka III and his wife Leonor, as well as other family and friends.

Visitation for friends and family will be held from 4-6 pm Saturday, December 18, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Toys for Tots or to the United Way.
