Oh Cherie, I sent you a text to see if you were ok but no response. You always jumped on made sure I was ok and we would try to plan a time to meet. Well, my friend we will meet in heaven. I loved your humor, analysis of situations and your contagious smile. I love you and will miss you. God bless. Thank you for standing by all the Veterans you saved when they were hopeless you showed them hope was always an option.

Cherie and I met at the KCVA about 14 years ago and recently reunited when I moved back. I wish I would have gotten so much more time with her. She'd be there to always give me the scoop and take a joke a little far with me and we'd crack up. She was a great MH RN. Looking at her picture is heart-breaking, just miss her and know how hard this is for her family.

Cherie & I met during her years at Truman Medical Center. We immediately formed a friendship that would last for years. She loved her work at the VA & eventually I followed her there. We spent hours talking & laughing. I will never forget her laugh & the times we shared. I will so miss you Cherie. Thanks for being my friend.

Cherie, you will be missed. I enjoyed our conversations at KCVA. I wish you could have enjoyed the long retirement you so definitely deserved after your tireless dedication to the Veterans you helped. Your sense of humor and intelligence made you a joy to be around. Condolences to the family.
