Lynn Ann Dykes

Lynn A. Dykes, 72, devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away January 23, 2022, surrounded by family.

Lynn was born September 3, 1949, in Springfield, MO. She married the love of her life, Lyle Dykes on June 28, 1980. They resided in Kansas City and loved to travel and sightsee. Lynn worked in the X-ray business for more than 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Wright and Evelyn Alvord; husband, Lyle Dykes; son, Michael Ross; grandson, Dusky Baker; and brother, Mark Alvord.

Survivors include her daughter, Theresa (Robert) Baker of Bethany, MO; sister, Marcia Miller of Belton, MO; three granddaughters, Dawn (Charlie) Bloss of Bethany, MO, Theresa (Randy) Decker of Ashland, MO, Stephanie (Teylor) Seever of Columbia, MO; grandson, James (Brooklyn) Baker of Ridgeway, MO; 20 great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and friends.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, followed by a service celebrating Lynn's life at 11:00 am, on Saturday, January 29, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, 1640 North State Route 291, Liberty, MO. Private interment at a later date in Glenridge Cemetery, Liberty.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, followed by a service celebrating Lynn’s life at 11:00 am, on Saturday, January 29, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, 1640 North State Route 291, Liberty, MO. Private interment at a later date in Glenridge Cemetery, Liberty.
