Earl Dean Sheets

Earl Dean “Butch” Sheets, 77, a longtime resident of Kansas City, Missouri passed away February 22, 2024.   Dean was born in Wichita, Kansas on August 19, 1946 to Ernest Sheets and Mable (Weiche) Sheets. In 1962, Dean would meet the love of his life and five years later, marry Vicki C. Sheets. If Dean wasn't working or taking the kids to different sporting events, you could find him on the lake or out hunting.

Mr. Sheets was preceded in death by his parents, wife Vicki, daughter Laura Curtis and sisters Bonnie Sue, June Bug, and Corkey.  Survivors include his son Jason Sheets; sisters Carol, Linda and Debbie; grandchildren: Chelsea (Keth) Barnes, Samantha (Austin) Birdsong, Blake Curtis and Angel Sheets; and seven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 9:30AM, with funeral services to follow at 10:30AM, Thursday, February 29 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, Missouri; burial in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, Missouri.
