Earline Faye Nix

Earline Faye Becker-Flippin Nix, 84, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on the morning of Sunday, September 22, 2024. She was born in Goltry, Oklahoma on October 14, 1939, to the late Jake and Carrie (Jantz) Becker.

Earline was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She took great pride in being a Pastors wife and playing the piano for many church services. She was also a great caregiver of the neighborhood stray cats.

She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Wilbur R. Nix, Children Russell (Aura) Flippin, Keith (Vickie) Flippin and Ron Flippin. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and her daughter in law LaDonna Flippin.

In addition to her parents Earline is preceded in death by her first husband of 49 years, Pastor Vernon E. Flippin, son Gary Flippin and her siblings Delmar Becker, Velma Zenger and LaVerne Becker and daughter in law Kristi Flippin.

Services will be held at Harvest Church, in Derby, Kansas on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 2:30 PM. Interment will be Friday at 1 PM in Green Lawn Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri.
