Donald L. Eber

Donald L. Eber, of Independence, MO, passed away September 26, 2019. Visitation will be held 10am - 11am with the service being held immediately following at St. Mark Catholic Church. There will be a private burial at Memorial Park.

Born in Portland, OR on May 26, 1937 to Donald S. and Della G. Eber. He attended Lillis High School. Married Carol A. (Hinze) Eber on June 5, 1965. Served in the Army from 1961 to 1969. Worked as an Industrial Fumigator for 30+ years. He was an avid Chiefs, Royals, and K-State Wildcat fan. If he wasn't watching sports, then he was watching an old western movie.

Donald was preceded in death by his father Donald S. Eber, mother Della G. (Hayes) Eber, and sister Eleanor L. (Eber) Cutler. He leaves behind a family that loved him and are better because of the life he lived. Survived by wife Carol, son Bob and daughter-in-law Diann Eber, granddaughter Elizabeth and grandson Max Eber of Shawnee, KS, daughter Dawn (Eber) Frazer and son-in-law Brian, grandson Brian Eber of Raytown, MO, and son David and daughter-in-law Linda Eber of Independence, MO. Additionally, he is survived by his twin brother Ronald and wife Arlene Eber of Kansas City, MO, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be 10AM, service to follow at 11AM, Monday, September 30, 2019 at St. Mark Catholic Church, 3736 Lees Summit Rd.; private burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
