Edith Lucile Hasley Creighton (nee Miller)

Edith Lucile Hasley Creighton (nee Miller), age 102, of Williamsville, NY, passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 4, 2025.   She was preceded in death by two loving husbands, Harry Hasley and William D. Creighton. She is survived by two stepchildren Susan Niehaus and Linda Hasley. Lucile lived a full and long life traveling the world first as an ice skater in the Ice Capades and Holiday on Ice shows and then as the administrator and business manager for the shows. When she retired from the shows, she traveled to build ice rinks around the world and ran a company designing and making skating outfits. To top it off she was a competitive bowler well into her 80s. The family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Thursday April 24th from 3-7PM at the DANIEL R. SMOLAREK FUNERAL HOME, 2510 Union Rd., Cheektowaga (2 blocks south of William St.) where a prayer service will be held at 6:45PM. Interment in Green Lawn Cemetery, Kansas City, Missouri.
