Rhonda Kay Elliott

Rhonda Kay (Cashatt) Elliott, 66, passed peacefully at home in Excelsior Springs on January 20, 2022, with loved ones at her side.

Rhonda was born January 25, 1955, in Kansas City, MO, the fifth of eight children of Charles and Mamie (Keith) Cashatt. She grew up in Liberty, MO and graduated from Liberty High School.

Rhonda was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Kearney. She had a passion for all animals, especially horses, which she shared with her sons and grandchildren.

Rhonda leaves her sons, Mark "Buck" Elliott (Jaime), Jody Elliott (Lauren), Kevin Elliott and Jeff Elliott (Crystal); grandchildren, Trey, Dakota, Carly, Josie, Bryant, Charleigh, Danielle, Emma, Thomas and Kynleigh; siblings, Sharon Wheeler (Steve), Charles Cashatt Jr. (Pat), Deborah "Gracie" Beeman, Gail Crain, Danny Cashatt (Debbie), and Annette Massey; as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Along with her parents, Rhonda was preceded in death by a sister, Patty Shanks.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm, followed by services at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, January 25, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO. Burial will be at a later date at Rose Hill Cemetery in Breckenridge, MO.
