Elsie E. Allgaier

Elsie Eunice (Green) Allgaier, 76, of Overland Park, Kansas lost her battle to Cancer on August 23 at Trustwell Senior Living with family at her side.

Elsie was born October 10, 1946 in Chilhowee, MO. She was one of five children of Ralph Ezra Green and Bonnie May Ruth (Moore) Green.  After graduating Elsie went to business college and met her husband, Daniel G Allgaier Jr in Independence, MO.  They were blessed with three children, Dee Shay (Ludwig), Daniel G Allgaier III, and Elisa Marie (Carter). Elsie was a devoted wife, loving mother, and grandmother. Her laugh was contagious and a huge part of what made her so special. She loved God and spending time with her family the most.

Along with her parents, Elsie was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years; her brother Robert and Sister Barbara.  She is survived by her two sisters Annette and Bonnie. Her memories will be forever cherished by her three children, 7 treasured grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and numerous friends and relatives. We lost a wonderful woman. Heaven gained a beautiful soul.

Visitation will be 9AM, with services to follow at 10AM, Wednesday, August 30 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, Missouri; burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
