Elsie L. Lippe

Elsie Louise Lippe, 94, of Independence, MO passed away September 5, 2024 at Jefferson Healthcare in Lee’s Summit, MO. She was born November 30, 1929, in Concordia, MO to Ernest T. and Emilie (Stuenkel) Hinck.

Elsie married Martin Lippe of Priddy, TX. They were married 63 years. She was preceded in death by Martin, both parents, and one brother Hobert Hinck. She is survived by two sons, Mark (Mary), David (Valentine), and one granddaughter Sarah.

Elsie was a life-long Lutheran that worked in the cafeteria of Immanuel Lutheran Grade School and Truman High School. She also was a member of St. Paul’s LWML (Lutheran Women Missionary League) as well as treasurer of adult Bible class that supported missionaries around the world.

A special thank you to all the staff and nurses at Crossroads Hospice and Palliative Care and also Jefferson Healthcare Nursing Home.
