Erica Jo Mitchell

Erica J Mitchell passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at North Kansas City Hospital.  She was born April 13, 1997, in North Kansas City.  

She was married May 15, 2015, to Ricky R Mitchell, Jr. in Richmond, MO.  

She was a huge supporter of breast feeding and natural child rearing, having five children of her own.  Her intelligence and wit were a welcome addition to the holistic child rearing community.  She donated her excess breast milk to mothers in need. 

She leaves behind her children Ricky III, Lilliana, Anthony, Joseph and Adeline, her loving husband, Ricky Jr, mother Amy Jenista, father Geoffrey Jenista (Heather), grandmother Sheila Jo Jones, grandfather William Tester (Lynette), great-grandmother Geraldine Plourd and brothers Bodey, Hank, Thatcher, Christopher, Geoffrey Scott, Elijah, Matthew, and sister Reagan. 

A visitation will be from 2:00 – 3:00 PM on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, 1640 N. MO-291 HWY, Liberty, MO. 64060. A funeral service will be at 3:00 PM with burial to follow at the Missouri City Cemetery in Missouri City, Missouri.
