Dixie G. Erickson

Dixie Gaylene Erickson, 62, of Liberty, MO, passed away unexpectedly on June 5, 2021 at her home.

Dixie was born July 3, 1958, in North Kansas City, MO, the daughter of William T. Sherman Gurley and Mary Ann Locke Gurley. She graduated from North Kansas City High School.

Along with her parents, Dixie was preceded in death by a brother, Johnnie Gurley. She leaves her husband, Jon Erickson; daughter, Jackie Wisecup; grandchildren, Mikayla, Jordan, Ronnie and Rahki; brother, Tommy Gurley (Sherlene) and sister, Martha Embree (Greg); as well as other family members and friends.

Visitation will begin at 5 pm, followed by services at 6 pm, on Friday, June 25, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, 1640 N. State Route 291, Liberty, MO 64068. (816) 781-8228. Memorials in care of the funeral home to assist with expenses would be very much appreciated.
