Esther J. DeLoney

Esther Jean DeLoney was born October 22, 1934 in Kansas City, MO. She passed away peacefully on Friday, July 21, 2023.

Esther was preceded in death by her adopted parents; Mary M. and Joseph C. DeLoney; her birth mother Rosie Porter; her son James Ervin DeLoney; son-in-law, Adrian Malone; siblings: Juanita Porter, Willie Porter, Ruthie Mae Porter, Alfred Porter, Gordon Porter, and Robert Porter.

Esther attended school in Kansas City, MO and graduated from R. T. Coles High School.  Esther loved the Lord and accepted Christ at an early age and had been a member of The Church of The Living God (C.W.F.F.).  She worked several jobs and retired from Baptist Hospital.

Esther leaves to cherish her memory: two daughters; Mary Malone and Edwenia DeLoney; two grandchildren, Justin Malone and Jessica Grider (Blaine); three great-grandsons, William, Anthony, and Benjamin Grider; siblings, Arlene Jackson and Wilma Burns; and other relatives and friends.
