Evelyn Jane Lopez

Evelyn Jane Lopez, Kansas City, Missouri went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at Liberty Hospital, Liberty, Missouri after a brief illness. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Monday, October 14, 2024 at Park Lawn Northland Chapel (1640 N. State Hwy 291, Liberty, MO 64068) Visitation will be 1-2pm prior to t he service.

 Evelyn was born March 3, 1943 in Fairmont, West Virginia to Everett Russell and Irene Claire (Williams) Hoskins. Evelyn’s family moved to Alton, IL when she was a young girl. She went to grade school and High School in Alton. 

On February 8, 1997 she married David Lopez. They attended the First Baptist Church of Rosewood Heights Illinois. She and David moved their family to Kansas City in 2006.

Evelyn enjoyed her time with her family and friends. She enjoyed Country Music Concerts, gardening and had a great love for animals of all kind. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Everett and Irene. One brother Raymond Hoskins in 1986

She is survived by her husband David. Her sons, Brian Lattimore, Joe Jackson wife Robin and Bill Jackson wife Becky. Her grandchildren, Ryan Parks, Christopher Parks wife Cynthia, Kevin Jackson wife Marie, Anthony Jackson wife Victoria, Steven Jackson, Cody Jackson and 12 great grandchildren. Her beloved cats Skeeter, Zoey, and Rocky.

Evelyn was a very sweet lady who also leaves many beloved friends.  She had a great love for all animals.  The family request memorial contributions may be given to;   Greater Kansas City Humane Society, 5445 Parallel Parkway, Kansas City, KS 66104
