Evelyn E. Vasalinda

Evelyn E. Vasalinda, 89, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023, at St. Joseph Health Center in Kansas City, Missouri.  She was born on January 14, 1934, in St. Louis, Missouri to Theodore and Dora Thierry.

Evelyn was the owner/operator of several Baskin-Robbins ice cream stores in the Kansas City area before retiring many years ago.  She was active in Camp Fire Girls and helped establish the Ruskin High School Booster Club scholarship fund.  She was an avid Chiefs fan and delivered the best birthday wishes.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Leo Thierry.  She is survived by her children Denis, Kevin (Mary), Linda (Ken) Sonnenmoser, and Michele (Stewart) Legg.  Evelyn’s three grandchildren were the light of her life, Kara Vasalinda, Ben Legg and Zach Legg.
