I was so sad to hear about Debbie. Some of my fondest childhood memories include her...we so often played Charlie’s Angels and kick the can when I was at my grandparent’s house. The great love she had for her daughter and grandchildren as well as her whole family was so abundantly clear. Sending love and bravery as you all navigate a new world without Debbie.

Debbie left quite a mark on me personally. I enjoyed every moment having her as a supervisor, mentor and a friend. Even years after I moved from the area she gladly spoke with me to guide me in tough times or to share a laugh! I wholeheartedly appreciate the differences she made for my colleagues and me. A hilarious, kindhearted and loving human has been gained by heaven. God bless your family.

My heart is so broken for the entire Ewing family. Debbie is easily one of my favorite humans. She loved big. She laughed big. I haven’t seen her in person in years, but always felt like she was my own aunt. I loved staying in touch with her on Facebook. She made me laugh so much. But always made sure we knew how head over heels in love with those grandbabies she was. I loved watching her be a grandma and she was the best mom I know. Please know my heart and all of my love are with you, Caitlin, Diane, Christina, Nikki and the rest of the family.

Debbie was a kind sweet person who was full of wisdom. I have learned a lot lately from her as we shared pictures and stories of our grandkids. I will miss her deeply. My thoughts and prayers are to all the family. I am sure her daughter knows how loved she was by her mother. That showed in her post. She loved her grandkids and was so proud of her daughter and her little family. Cherish the memories.

My heart breaks for your family. I wish I had a well thought out awesome speech ready but all I can say is you were one of the best people I knew. Whether we were disagreeing on the topic of the day or joking about who knows what I could always count on you to give me a different perspective and make me think. I’ll never forget the first day I was on your team and you walked by while I was joking and I got the wide eyed wow look and you just kept walking. I knew then we’d be friends. I miss you already and know heaven gained an angel but it’s hard on all of us.

Paul King
