Kelly Lynn Farnsworth

Kelly Lynn Farnsworth, 59, of Humansville, Missouri, passed away Friday, March 12, 2021, with her family by her side, in Kansas City, Missouri.  Memorial services will be private.

Kelly was born Sunday, December 17, 1961, to Margaret “Alice” Clemens and Melvin D. Gross, in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from Blue Valley High School in 1980.

Kelly’s professional life was spent working at Truman Medical Center Lakewood, where she worked as CNA for Long Term Care, Emergency Concierge, Behavioral Health Tech. She gave Truman 20 years of service.

She met her 1st and only love in June of 1976 where she ended-up marrying in February of 1980. She raised 3 wonderful kids, which she is very proud of. She began her journey as a grandma at the young age of 37.

Kelly will be fondly remembered for her love of shopping, cooking and crocheting blankets, but most of all for her love of family—they are her pride and joy.

Kelly is preceded in death by her father and step-father. Kelly is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Tim G. Farnsworth; children Charity L. Testerman (James), Dean M. Farnsworth (Amanda) and Derek J. Farnsworth (Kaila) and; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild—all her pride and joy! Kelly also leaves behind her mother Alice Roxburg, brother Larry Gross (Dianna) and her step-brother Rob Roxburg, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
