Feutz, Betty J.

March 31, 1931 — March 4, 2020

Betty Jo (Johnson) Feutz, age 88, went home to her Lord Jesus Christ on March 4th, 2020.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Feutz of Greenwood Missouri. They met at Kansas City Life Insurance Company, and raised their two daughters, Jana Feutz and Cheryl Feutz Fletcher, in Raytown, Missouri.

Betty was a 1951 graduate of Central High School in Kansas City. She worked as a Supervisor for the Internal Revenue Service in Kansas City, and retired in Greenwood, Missouri in 1991.

Betty was very active in the Church of the Rock of Lee’s Summit, Missouri where she volunteered in the Food Pantry.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ople Johnson, and her two sisters, Ella Lee Crawford and Norma Jean Johnson, and brother Charles Kenneth Johnson.

She leaves behind two daughters, Jana Feutz and Cheryl Fletcher; two sisters, Jeanine Miller and Janice Barrie; and two grandchildren, Jackson and Kennedy Fletcher, as well as many other loving extended family and friends.

Those who knew and loved Betty will remember her strength, willingness to help others, and her compassion for the less fortunate and animals. They will also remember her humor and love of song, even in her last years.
