Teresa L. Fletcher

Teresa L. Fletcher, age 58, passed away peacefully in her home on the afternoon of January 11th after a long tiresome battle with cancer. She was born on May 18, 1961, in Kansas City Missouri to Bill & Clara (Swope) Fletcher. She was a graduate of Shawnee Mission North High School. She spent numerous years working in the retail industry but her true passion, in which she did for over 15 years, was working in child care. Teresa truly was a selfless person in every sense of the word and put her needs far behind those of her family and friends. She will always be remembered for her unique sense of humor, her "tell it like it is" attitude, and most of all her one of a kind laugh. Teresa is survived by her mother Clara Gibbs, son Joshua Fletcher, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Ann Fletcher and her father William L. Fletcher Sr. A celebration of life will be planned for family and friends at a time closer to the middle of May, for what would have been her birthday.
