Donalea Lynn Ford

Donalea Lynn (France) Ford, 62, of the Kansas City Northland, passed peacefully on December 9, 2020, at NorthCare Hospice House with loved ones at her side.

Donalea was born January 6, 1958, in Kansas City, MO, the third of four children of Harold Gene and Marcia Eileen (Wells) France. Along with her parents, Donalea was preceded in death by brother, Richard France and sister, Michelle France. She graduated from Winnetonka High School in 1976. She worked many years in the trucking industry.

Survivors include her sons, Christopher Sailor of Kansas City, MO, Bret Ford of Kansas City, MO, and Erik Ford of Slidell, LA; granddaughters, Kileigh Sailor and Paiton Ford; her sister, Sherry Hayes of Kansas City; and two nephews and their families, as well as other extended family and friends.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 16, at the France Family Mausoleum in Mount Washington Cemetery, Independence, MO (use Truman Road entrance to the cemetery). Remembering Donalea's love for animals, memorials are suggested to the K.C. Pet Project.
