Doloris A. Forman

Doloris Ann Forman, 86, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2021. She was born February 19, 1935, in Liberty MO, the daughter of William A. and Kathleen (Galvin) Forman.

Doloris was a graduate of Liberty High class of 1953. She worked in Public Debt and Securities for the Federal Reserve Bank in Kansas City for more than 40 years until her retirement in 1993.

She was baptized in 1944 at the age of 9 and became a lifelong member of the Second Baptist Church. Christ and the church were very important to her. As a young girl, she attended Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Training Union, Sunbeams, and the Girls Auxiliary. In later years, she served as a member of the Finance Committee and was the Wedding Coordinator for the church . She enjoyed volunteering for Liberty Hospital gift shop, traveling with her sisters and shopping as well as taking daily walks.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Pearl Evelyn Carder and Francis Nadine Forman, and a brother Arthur Eugene Forman. Survivors include her sisters, Emma Forman of the home, Lucille Elliott of Bellevue, NE and Charlotte Gauldin of Des Moines, IA and her many beloved nieces, nephews and their extended families.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 8 at 12:00 noon followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. at the Second Baptist Church in Liberty. The service will be live streamed on Facebook. Doloris wished to be cremated and her ashes interred in the Memorial Garden at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Second Baptist Church Memorial Fund.
