Jearl 'Jerry' Lee Fossett Sr, 78, of Grain Valley, MO died Saturday, November 30, 2019 at St. Mary's Hospital in Blue Springs, MO. Jearl Lee Fossett Sr was born April 24, 1941 in Mt. Vernon, MO to Clyde Elmer and Audra Vendela Rearis Fossett. Jerry was a custodian in Kansas City area school districts for 42 years and retired in 2011. Jerry is survived by his fiance Martha Elliott and seven children: Jearl Lee Fossett Jr, Ann Fossett, John Fossett, Eddie Lane, Tammy Lucas, Jeff Lane and wife Cristina, and Scott Fossett. There are 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grand children surviving and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be begin at 12pm,and funeral service will be at 1pm, Thursday, December 5, 2019 at the Park Lawn Funeral Home, Kansas City, MO, followed by burial in Green Lawn Cemetery.
