Alleen Florence Long Franck, 92, passed away January 31, 2021.

Alleen was born February 12, 1928, in Drexel, MO. to McKinley and Florence Campbell Long. After graduating from Drexel High School she attended Ottawa University where she majored in Music Education. Alleen married Rev. George E. Franck on August 31, 1947 at First Baptist Church of Drexel.

Alleen's music education was useful as she helped with music at churches where her husband pastored. Musical instruments she played were violin, trumpet, alto saxophone, accordion, keyboard, piano and organ. Alleen taught Bible Drill, puppetry, clowning and piano lessons. She taught Elementary Education and Music at Louisburg, KS and Orrick, MO. Alleen continued her education at UMKC in computer programming and business administration and was employed at Manncraft Exhibitors Service, Bretton's Restaurant, Moseley Real Estate, Wolf & Co CPA, and Chroma Graphics, Inc., all located in Kansas City, MO. Alleen was a member of Second Baptist Church, Liberty, MO.

Along with her parents, Alleen was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. George E. Franck who died June 4, 2000; as well as brothers-in-law, J.C. Jones and Jim Gammon. Survivors include a son, George Allen Franck and wife Carla of Liberty, MO; grandchildren, George A. Jr. and wife Heather of Kansas City, MO, Matthew and wife Ashley of Shawnee, KS, and Jennifer Coughlin and husband Adam of Overland Park, KS; great grandchildren, Austin and Briana Franck, Benjamin and Sage Franck, and Ellis and Kemper Coughlin; sisters, Dorothy Jones of Wichita Falls, TX and Sue Gammon of Springfield, MO; as well as nephews and their families.

Private services will be held Friday, February 5, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Susan G. Komen Kansas and Western Missouri (Breast Cancer Research).
