Esther Lucille Freeman

Esther Lucille (Lynn) Freeman, 99, of Americus, Georgia, went to be with her Lord on August 11, 2022. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Road, Kansas City, MO 64138. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri.

Esther was born on May 19,1923 in Kansas City, Kansas to Roy and Thelma Lynn of Kansas City Missouri.

Esther’s ministry career was long and fruitful, from her marriage to Harold

in 1940 in Kansas City KS, through Bible College in St. Louis MO, pastorates in

St. Louis MO, Salina KS, and Vallejo CA; office management with I.F.C.A. in

Westchester IL.

Her Bible teaching, counseling, song writing, ability with accordion, piano

and organ were blessed of the Lord. The hundreds of inspirational poems she

authored are amazing and spiritually uplifting. She was a member of Vallejo Bible Church in Vallejo, California.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Harold F. Freeman on April 11, 2002.

Survivors include her son Phil and his wife Jill Freeman; 3 grandchildren: Scott

(Joyce Villanueva) Freeman; Cynthia (Charles) Arwood; and Joshua (Carolyn

Rasmussen) Freeman; 9 great-grandchildren: Aaron Joseph Freeman, Amanda

Freeman, Rebekah (Brent) Hemphill, Kathryn Crenshaw, Emily Arwood,

Samantha (Tyler) Bannister, and Spencer, Evan, and Judah Freeman; and

1 great-great-grandchild, Noah Grace Crenshaw.
