Nolte Hadley Frieda

January 20, 1927 — October 27, 2021

Our beloved mother, Frieda Hadley, died unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, October 27. She was born in Kansas City, Missouri on January 20, 1927 to Fredrich and Clara Elizabeth Nolte, and was the 9th of 10 children. All of her siblings preceded her in death as well as her husband, Jack Hadley, her infant son John Hadley and her granddaughter Jill Horn.

Frieda raised five children with great love, Teddi Nugent, Janet (Jim) Hibbert, Gayle (Glen) Wans, Laurel Hadley, and Russ (Chris) Hadley. She also leaves six grandchildren, Todd (Sherry) Hall, Adam Hadley Wans, Emmy Hadley, Alexandra Hadley (Matt) Rich, Megan Hadley, Jackson Hadley and three great grandchildren Collin Hall, Rebecca Hall and Jake Hall. Her many nieces and nephews will also miss their Aunt Frieda. Our Mom’s life was devoted to her family and we were all devoted to her. She was born to be a mother to her own children and to anyone who needed some mothering. She faced many health challenges over the years but always overcame the obstacles, determined to return to her home and her sweet dog Joey. She will be missed more than these words could possibly say but we take comfort that she rests in the eternal presence of God and surrounded by all those she loved and lost in this life. Rest well Mom, your work here is done. Our love and our hearts go with you.

Funeral services will be on Friday, November 12, 1:00 PM at Rolling Hills Presbyterian Church, 9300 Nall Ave, Overland Park KS. Reception to follow at the church.
