Alexa C. Fuller

After a heroic fight with cancer, Alexa Christine Fuller fell asleep in the Lord on June 3rd, 2018 in Kansas City, MO surrounded by her family and loved ones. Alexa was born on June 5th, 1979 in Kansas City, where she lived her entire life. She was a faithful member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. She will be remembered through her loving husband Brian and her daughters, Addison and Cassidy.

Alexa was a fierce fighter who never gave up. Instead, she decided to help as many others as she could by becoming actively involved in the local Relay for Life to raise money for cancer research. She founded the team “Fighting for Fuller” and helped raise thousands of dollars to support the fight against cancer. She spent her final weeks fighting to join a medical trial at MD Anderson in Houston, knowing full well the results might have only helped those who came after her.

Alexa is survived by her husband and children, as well as a large and loving family; her mother and father Connie and Chris; her brothers Sonny and Gabriel; Yaya Tina; aunts and uncles, cousins, many friends and loved ones. While we are all heartbroken, it brings comfort to know that Alexa will reunite with her son Cole, Thea Matilda and Papou Tom in heaven.

There will be a visitation at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church on Thursday, June 7th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at Annunciation on Friday, June 8th at 10:00 AM. Annunciation is located at 12001 Wornall Road, KCMO, 64145.
