Galetti, John Robert's Guestbook

John “Fingers” Galetti, RIP brother. John and I flew together in 90 on the same crew. We were roommates with Tom in the DR Inlet house, infamous. Good times with a great brother. He was a warrior. See you in Valhalla when we get there.

John and I were classmates in grammar school. He was a fine human being and someone that I would have gladly seen again. I regret that we did not have an opportunity to meet again later in life. May he Rest In Peace.

John and I served together in VP-49. He was a great man and I always enjoyed his positive attitude. Proud to call you a Navy brother.

I have very fond memories growing up with John back at St Therese elementary school. He was a lot of fun to be around, incredibly outgoing, funny, athletic and just a great friend. I caught up with him a few times later in life and I always enjoyed those moments. We flew in the same type of Navy aircraft, though our paths never crossed--but it was clear he enjoyed flying with the Navy. My father (who passed last summer) was a big fan of John's and he would be equally heartbroken to hear that John has left us. We have lost a good man.
