Julie Ann (Ray) Gantt, 56, passed away November 13, 2022, at her home in Gladstone, surrounded by family and loved ones.

Julie was born November 19, 1965, in Kansas City, MO, the youngest of five children of Delmar Matthew Ray and Irma Jean (Duncan) Ray. Her father preceded her in death in 2016. Julie grew up in Lathrop, MO, and graduated from Lathrop High School in 1984. She worked as a Medical Records Technician for Ability, KC.

Survivors include her daughter, Mattie Mullikin; her mother, Irma Ray; her companion of heart, Jim Michener; and siblings, Evelyn Ray, Dennis Ray (Teresa), Dean Ray (Kathy) and Gwyn Janine Ray. She was called "Aunt Julie" not only to her nieces, nephews, and their families, but by many others who loved her as family. Julie also leaves other family members and many, many friends. Her accepting and outgoing personality will be greatly missed by all.

A visitation celebrating Julie's life will be held from 10 am to 12 noon on Saturday, November 19, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO. If you wish, please give a donation in Julie's name to the charity of your choice.
