Donna Corrine Geabhart

Donna Corrine Geabhart was born on August 17th, 1934 in Kansas City, Missouri. She passed from this life on Sunday, December 20, 2020 in Memphis, Tennessee. A Celebration of life service will be held Monday, December 28 at Blue Ridge Baptist Church located at 9320 E. 35th Street Independence, Missouri. Visitation will be at 10:00am and the Service will follow at 10:30am.

She is survived by: two sons Bob Geabhart (Dianne) and Stephen Geabhart (Landra), five grandchildren Blake Geabhart (Jessica), Jason Geabhart, Michael Geabhart (Christy), Sara Marquass (Benjamin), and Gloria Shoemaker (Paul), and eleven great grandchildren Ava Grace Geabhart, Emerson Geabhart, Carter Miller, Grace Miller, Hudson Geabhart, Ariana Geabhart, Andrew Geabhart, Austin Geabhart, Hunter Marquass, Mollie Marquass, and Emma Shoemaker.

Corrine was preceded in death by her father Cyrus Wallace Foreman and her mother Mabel Marie Foreman and had no brothers or sisters. For much of her working career she was a Financial Aid Advisor for William Jewell College in Liberty Missouri. Corrine loved Blue Ridge Baptist Church and was a faithful member of the choir and often assisted with the finances of the church. Even when dementia robbed her of much of her memory she could still sing every word of Amazing Grace.

Everyone loved her smile and sweet personality.

Service Information:

A Celebration of life service will be held Monday, December 28 at Blue Ridge Baptist Church located at 9320 E. 35th Street Independence, Missouri. Visitation will be at 10:00am and the Service will follow at 10:30am.
