Ginger S. Irving

Ginger Sue Irving, 77, of Lee’s Summit, MO, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2023. She was born September 25, 1945, in Kansas City, KS. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Ethel (Parker) Sites, and sister, Cindy (Sites) McEldery. Ginger was a talented Hair Stylist for 50 years and the owner of Ginger’s Fashion Boutique, in Raytown, for 40 of those years. She enjoyed spending time with her beloved family, traveling to the beach, and reading a good book. Surviving is her husband of 40 years, James Irving; two children, Charles Oxley (Karin), and Erin (Oxley) Cooper (Jake); one stepdaughter, Jami Irving; and one sister, Terre (Sites) Bagwell; 10 grandchildren, and one great-grandson.  A Celebration of Ginger's Life will be held 1PM, Thursday, April 13 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, Missouri.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or to UNICEF.
