Glen Pyle

   Glendel “Glen” Gene Pyle, 91, of Independence, MO, passed away Thur, Feb 1, 2024, in Independence.  Visitation from 10-11AM, with funeral services at 11AM on Wed, Feb 7, at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd, KCMO 64131.  Burial to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, KCMO.   In Lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Glen’s memory to The American Cancer society.

   Glen was born Tue, April 26, 1932, the eldest of six children to Gennevieve (Milburn) and Harley Pyle, in Carrier Mills, IL.  He graduated from Carrier Mills High School. Glen was a member of the Church at Three Trails.  He will be remembered for his love of old western TV shows, traveling, his love for family, and his wicked sense of humor.

   Glen was preceded in death by his first wife Norma Sutton; his son Steven Pyle; siblings Don, Connie, Bill, Mary.  He is survived by his wife Barbara; daughter Angela Morrison; seven grandchildren: Sonya Pearson, Kevin Pyle, Matthew Morrison, and Jason, Megan, Derek and Ryan Borland; six great grandchildren; and sister Shirley Boyle; and many nieces and nephews.
