Joseph Michael Golden

Joseph Michael Golden, 83, passed away October 24, 2020, at home in Liberty, MO. He was born May 23, 1937, in New York City, NY, the son of Joseph David and Mary Ellen (Carver) Golden. He served in the US Army from 1962 until 1964. Joe was united in marriage to Catherine Ann Kerrigan on May 14, 1966. She preceded him in death on September 1, 2020. He worked as a mail handler for the US Postal Service in New Jersey for more than 30 years.

Survivors include children, Joseph Golden (Amy), Lynn Goodwin (Rick) and Margaret Rieken (Alan); nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren; and his sister, Kathleen Daly.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, followed by services at 11:00 am on Friday, October 30, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO. Burial at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
