Gary “Bear” Gray

Gary Lee “Bear” Gray, 61, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, August 4, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, August 22, 2022 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Road, Kansas City, Missouri, 64138. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial and contributions go to Amethyst Place for their expansion project, 2735 Troost Ave, Kansas City, MO 64109.

Gary was born on August 22, 1960 in Independence, Missouri to Richard M. and Anna Marie (Moore) Gray. He graduated from Raytown High School in 1978. He joined the GCIU Local Union 16 and was a first pressman for over 30 years. He loved the Kansas City Chiefs, going to the lake, and buzzing around in his Pontiac Solstice.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughter, Jaimie Davis and husband Robert; stepson Josh Anderson and his girlfriend Stephanie; his brother, Richard Gray and wife Holly; several grandchildren; and many friends.
