Arleta Hain, 80, of the Kansas City Northland, passed away January 4, 2019. Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm, followed by a service celebrating Arleta's life at 3:00 pm, on Wednesday, January 9, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty. Burial will follow in Glenridge Cemetery.
Arleta was born February 15, 1938, in Wichita, KS. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Hain; parents, Henry Evans and Genevieve Evans; and siblings, Gene Evans, Janet Plain, Jerry Evans and Jimmy Evans.
Arleta and her husband Floyd opened Hain's Upholstery in Liberty in 1972. Following Floyd's death in 2009, Arleta continued to operate the business until her death. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Greg Hain (Debi), Carol Wilson and Darryl Hain; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; siblings, Connie Tapley, Jeanette Justice, Betty Pierce and Gerald Evans; as well as many nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.
