Richard “Dick” Hanner

Richard Allen "Dick" Hanner, 82, of the Kansas City Northland, passed away October 6, 2020 at his home. He was born February 15, 1938, in Minneapolis, MN. Dick served in the U.S. Navy from 1956 until 1975, and following military retirement worked as a Meteorologist for the National Weather Service. He was a graduate of William Jewell College. Dick was a member of Rising Sun Masonic Lodge, Ararat Shrine Temple, and was a member of the Royal Order of Jesters Court 54.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Phyllis; five children and their families; brothers and their families.

Private graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, KS.
