Max G. Harding, 92, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on March 14, 2019 at the St. Luke's Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri. Visitation will be Thursday, March 21, 2019 from 9:30-10:30 am at Park Lawn Funeral Home servicing following. Burial will be at Forest Hills Cemetery after the services.
Max was born August 22, 1926 in Warrensburg, Missouri to Elmer and Bernice (Sheppard) Harding. He attended Immanuel Baptist Church in Independence, Missouri. After Max's truck driving retirement from Grave's Truck Line he and his lovely wife worked at Immanuel Baptist Church in Independence, Missouri. July 2012 he moved to Garden Village Retirement Community where he had an independent life with new friends. He was always willing to share his love of God with others. Max loved listening to Christian and country music. Most of all he enjoyed coffee, juicy hamburgers, and steak.
Max was preceded in death by his wife, Ona Geraldine "Gerry" Harding; and daughter Nancy. He is survived by his sister, Charlotte; brothers, Jessie and David; sons, Robert, Max Thomas, and Donald; 9 grandchildren, 9 and one on the way great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
Service Information:Visitation will be 930AM, with services at 1030AM, Thursday, March 21 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd.; burial in Forest Hill Cemetery.
