Christine I. Harless

Christine Iona Harless, 82, passed away January 22, 2022. Christine was born April 1, 1939 in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from Center High School in 1957. Christine worked for Clairol and Hodgen Powder Company until retirement. She loved going to dinners with the girls from high school, enjoyed painting, spending time with her grandkids and going to the lake and ohhh the dogs sure did love the treats they got and always enjoyed the most favorite time of the year, Christmas, it was always filled with laughter and family. Her love for God and family showed everyday. She was devoted to her faith.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents Emil “Cap” Klinge and Evelyn Klinge; her brother Paul Klinge; her sister Marlene Enright; and her son Craig Westervelt. Survivors include her son Mark Westervelt of Kansas City; son Matt Westervelt and wife Raeanne of Grain Valley; two grandsons: Tyler and his fiance Abigail Zuniga and Jacob Westervelt all of Grain Valley; great grandson Isaac Westervelt of Grain Valley; nieces and nephew, great niece and nephews along with great-great nieces and nephews and cousins.

Visitation will begin at 9AM, with memorial services to follow at 10AM, Saturday, February 5 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, Missouri.
