Jo Ann Hatfield

Jo Ann Hatfield, age 81, went to be with Our Lord for eternity on March 4, 2020. She was a life long resident of the Kansas City Metro Area. She retired from Beta Sigma Phi in August 2004, after serving for 38 years with the organization.

Jo Ann was an only child and was preceded in death by her parents; all four of her children: Johnny, Vickie, Jimmy and Susan; and their father.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Bobbie Timmerman, of Oklahoma, and her family. She also left behind her beloved Toy Yorkie, Jamie.

Jo Ann spent the last few years of her troubled life with two close friends who cared for her. She was a blessing to all who knew her.

Her memorial service will be 2:30 p.m., Sunday, March 15, 2020, at El-Bethel Baptist Church, 709 Herschel St., Belton, MO 64012. A time of reflection and fellowship will follow services.

Inurnment will take place at a later date at Floral Hills in a beautiful niche with some of her cherished mementos.
