Helene Martina Eskra

          Helene Martina Eskra, 91, of Liberty, MO, passed away August 31, 2023, at Pleasant Valley Manor.

          Helene was born June 5, 1932, in Wyoming, Pennsylvania, the middle of three daughters of Leo and Mary (Lulewicz) Sarachewski.  Along with her parents, Helene was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Eskra, and older sister, Florence Gatrone. 

          Survivors include three children, Sandie Heindel (Rod), Sharon Eskra, and Ron Eskra; and grandsons, Erik Heindel, Christopher Heindel (Shannon), and Brandon Heindel (Malyssa). Her great grandchildren include Shyla, Damian, Lorelei, Levi, Layna, Alexis, and Perrin.  She also leaves her younger sister, Dorothy Lucernoni as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

          Visitation will be held from 3-4 pm Saturday, September 9, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO.  Burial will be at a later date at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Carverton, Pennsylvania.
