Bonnie E. Henderson

Bonnie Eileen Henderson, 92, of Oak Grove, formerly of Independence, MO, passed away Monday, December 9, 2019. Bonnie was a loving wife and mother and will be missed by all who knew her.

Bonnie was born December 30, 1926, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Clinton & Dovie Phillips and lived in the Kansas City area all of her life. She was a secretary at Farmland Industries before retiring. She was a devout Christian and longtime member of Noland Road Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband Dale Henderson and 4 siblings. She is survived by 4 daughters, Judy Losch (Randy) of Orlando, FL, Ann McWilliams, Grandview, MO, Sandi Baskett (Jay), Excelsior Springs, MO, and Robin Johnson (Steve) of Jefferson City, MO; 2 step sons, Barry Henderson (Brenda) of Nelson, MO, and Troy Henderson (Linda) of Sedalia, MO; 1 step daughter, Kelly Lupardus (Ricky) of Cameron, MO; 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter.

Visitation will be 12-1 p.m. Saturday, December 14, 2019 at the Park Lawn Chapel with services immediately following. Interment will be in Green Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association.
