Kim, I'm so sorry for your loss. John was the first person to greet me when I first came to TowerView. He gave me a big hug and I knew this was the church I belonged. I'll miss those hugs.

It was such an honor to be able to witness John become the tremendous spiritual Patriarch he grew into. He was such an influence to so many. We are saddened to hear of your loss but also are very confident that he is enjoying giving a high-five to Grandpa Richard right now.

So many memories were made with the Higgins and Van Stratten families that will be cherished for a lifetime. Glad you were part of our lives for so many years. You and Steve better behave your selves in Heaven. Miss you already but never forgotten. Love always.

Barbara Van Stratten

I was so sorry to hear of John’s passing. I have fond memories of him. We were neighbors on Weatherby Lake. I remember his family had 2 larger Dobermans that were good guard dogs. The neighborhood kids would meet in the grass lot by John’s house and play football and there was a huge mulberry tree that we’d all climb. As we got older I remember he had the cool 1970’s clothes & hair style and he loved music. I pray for peace and comfort for his family & close friends.

He was a fellow classmate and he will be missed. Sending prayers 🙏🙏 to the family.
