Makaylah was one of my first students. She was so full of life, so animated and always a sweet girl. She came to see me up at Ruskin a few weeks ago. My heart is breaking with her family right now. I only knew her for a brief time but she certainly made being her teacher a joy. I'll absolutely miss her laugh, smile, energy, and presence.

I worked with Makaylah. She was always cheerful and loving, always giving me hugs when she saw me. A beautiful young lady with a huge heart that always put a smile on everyone's face. My thoughts and prayers are with her friends and family at this unbearable time.

Makaylah will always be remembered as she was so sweet and respectable. On several occasions her and her friends would stop by my place and pay me a visit. Her smile and kindness will never be forgotten. My prayers are with everyone that knew you. God Bless you

Cassandra, David, Noah, and the entire family, The passing of a loved one may seem unbearable, yet if we believe in God, we know that He is the God of all comfort. The God of all peace. He is able to uphold you when grief and sorrow seems to be unbearable. But God is able. God loves you and He has promised to never leave you nor forsake you. Just call upon Him, and He will strengthen your heart. You are in our prayers. We are just a phone call away. May God bless, comfort, and keep you, is our prayer. Amen.

Rev. James and Pat Jones

Cassandra, David and Noah, I am heartbroken over Makaylah's passing. She was a beautiful young woman and always a joy to be around. I will never forget bringing Bodee to visit her after Diesel passed. She had the biggest smile on her face. I hope you find peace and God's guidance at this difficult time. Love.

Makaylah was such a sweet little girl as I remember and had blossomed into a BEAUTIFUL young lady. She was a youth usher at Southside First Missionary Baptist Church and I truly enjoyed her presence and working with her. To David & the family, we will continue to lift you up in prayer during this very difficult time. God Bless
