Freddie Lee Hogue, 74, of Liberty, MO, passed away unexpectedly on March 27, 2022, at his home.
Fred was born March 25, 1948, in Bethany, MO. He attended Liberty High School and graduated from Lathrop High School. Fred served in the US Navy from 1967 until receiving honorable discharge on April 2, 1971.
Fred was united in marriage to Theresa M. Nevins on July 23, 1970 in San Diego, CA.
Over his working life, Fred began in 1971 as a Millwright and member of the Carpenters' Local 1529, and in 1993 went to work at the Ford Motor Claycomo Plant and was a member of UAW Local 249. He retired from Ford in 2012. Fred loved his cats, his morning coffee, chess, his plants, old westerns and bluegrass music.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace Dean Hogue and Peggy J. (Addison) Hoyt; wife, Theresa M. Hogue; and three brothers, Larry Braden, Shannon Braden and Ted Hogue.
Survivors include his children, Michael W. Hogue and Deana M. Ellis (Shawn); brothers, George K. Braden, Kenny Hogue, Chuck Hogue, Joe Hogue and Mark Hogue; sister, Kim Braden; eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, followed by service and military honors at 2:00 pm, on Sunday, April 3, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO.
