Ralph Earl Holaday

Ralph Earl Holaday, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on April 9, 2022, at the age of sixty-seven, after a long battle with cancer. Ralph was born on June 15, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois to Maurice and Joan Holaday who preceded him in death. His first wife Sharon also preceded him. Survivors include his wife Kathy Holaday; children Shawn Holaday and partner Amanda; Coty Holaday; Roger Amos and spouse Malissa; Suzanne Arnold and spouse Tim; and Matt Holaday; grandchildren Kortney Curtis and spouse Alex, Nicholas Amos, Jorden Holaday, Michael Rigney, Haili See and Kaycie See; and he was also looking forward to a great grandchild. Ralph is also survived by his siblings: Joe Holaday and spouse Maxine, Ricky Holaday, Diane Wrasse and spouse Jim, and Judy Holaday.

Ralph wanted to serve his country in the US Navy so much that he graduated high school early. He loved doing various crafts, taking long walks and reading. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going to meetings at the DAV and volunteered often. He also enjoyed anything that had to do with his Mustang. Ralph will be remembered for his love of family, his dry sense of humor and his willingness to help anyone that needed it.

Graveside services will be 11AM, Saturday, July 30 at Green Lawn Cemetery, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, Missouri.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Society or DAV.
